Belmont's popularity as a place to settle down and call home seems to have increased in recent years. Its an easily accessible community from points south of here using Rt 106 and Interstate 93, making it a great commuter location. Belmont also has become increasingly recognized for having a great school system, which is ranked very high for its academic programs and also boasts a new high school that was constructed in 1998.
