New Hampton, NH insights, statistics, photos, and MLS listings

New Hampton is a rural New England village located at Exit 23 off I-93. East of the highway you will find the typical commercial enterprises such a new gas station, Dunkin Donuts, Subway and the like. The main village is just west of the highway. It looks a lot like a prep school campus because the New Hampton School, a college preparatory school for high school aged and post graduate students, sits in the middle of town. The Pemigewasset River runs through the middle of the town and is a favorite for tubing, kayaking, and swimming.

New Hampton has a very rural, laid back feel with its farms, fields and antique homes. There are lots of back roads to meander on and the town seems to stretch on forever. Heading on Route 104 toward Meredith you'll see Pemigewasset Lake on your right. Lake Winona and Lake Waukewan (a hidden jewel that is shared with Meredith and Center Harbor) are a little harder to find. Take a left on to Winona Rd (that's kind of a hint) at the first stop light you come to and see if you can find them. They are definitely worth the hunt.

New Hampton is ideally situated to travel North/South on Interstate I-93 or East/West on Route 104. Located almost in the center of New Hampshire, you are in relative close proximity to many ski areas, golf courses and other attractions making it a great location in which to vacation or live and play.
