Located between Moultonborough and Wolfeboro on Rt 109, Tuftonboro is comprised of the villages of Mirror Lake, Tuftonboro Corner and Melvin Village. It has miles and miles of water frontage on Lake Winnipesaukee and Mirror Lake with fantastic water views all along this scenic road. Like Moultonborough, Tuftonboro has benefited by this large amount of waterfront yielding a very low, low tax rate.
You won't find any shopping here other than a couple of convenience stores, thankfully with gas. You will find a charming, small New England community that takes you back to simpler times.
